Happy as the sun
This is my second week of my 3 week break before it’s back to the grind. I can’t remember the last time I had no work OR school! It’s a wonderful feeling. I haven’t felt more relaxed than I am right now in a long time.
I love that in the last week I’ve been to the beach three times, gone home to see my beautiful family, gone to a wedding for two wonderful people, spent time with someone very special, and caught up with great friends.
I hope my life doesn’t disappear when I start student teaching (a.k.a. teaching full-time for free) in September. I’m looking forward to being in the classroom though and I’m excited to see what the Lord has planned.
God is good and I am so thankful.
