The bookstore was crawling with freshman today excited about moving into the dorms, nervous about meeting new people, and stressed with the amount of books they were about to buy and crack open in a couple weeks.
I worked rush at the bookstore once again this year. I have to admit, it was nice to be back. It reminded me of when I moved into the dorms in August of 2005. I met some of my favorite people that year in the dorms and I’m still friends with them. (note: about to get sentimental) I couldn’t help but be excited for the freshman and think about how fast those four years will fly by… and now I just sound old.
Anyway, another day at the bookstore tomorrow and even though my feet are aching, I’m kinda looking forward to it.
Happy Wednesday people! It’s almost Friday.. which means it’s almost the weekend.
